Mini Meadows Farm is our lovely children’s farm park set in 12 acres of rolling countryside on the Northamptonshire and Leicestershire border.

Come and meet our cute, not quite so cute, large and small farm animals. Learn what they eat using our colour-coded feed buckets, stroke the guinea pigs and rabbits, and if you’re lucky you may even see a chick hatching!

Go exploring on our reservoir walk, build sandcastles in our huge indoor sandpit, and have fun on our fantastic indoor and outdoor wooden play areas.

Our cafe’s coffee, homemade cakes and light lunches are delicious, and we also have picnic areas and lots of space to run off some energy. It’s a great value day out for adults and children alike.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Indoor Play Area Now Open

Mini Meadows Farm has now opened its brand new wooden indoor play area, The Treetops! After several months of planning and building, The Treetops opened to visitors in November and has already been a huge hit with children of all ages. It includes climbing walls and rope bridges, huge slides, tunnels and funky lighting, and there’s even a separate area for toddlers – small enough for little legs but still just as fun. To make the most of The Treetops, we’ve introduced a reduced entry price to the farm after 3pm (£2.50) – perfect for after school entertainment! Click here to watch the video.

Halloween at the farm

It’s that time of year again…….join us on the 27th and 28th October for our annual Halloween Freaky Farm Weekend! We’ve got the usual spooky activities throughout the weekend including a pumpkin carving competition, fancy dress competition, trick or treat, spooky skeleton trail, face painting, crafts, apple bobbing and much more (10am-5pm, normal £5 entry to the farm plus £3 each to take part in the activities).

Halloween activities will be on throughout the weekend during farm opening hours. We are aiming this weekend at children 2 to 10 years old so its not a really scary weekend, no need to worry.

News

Our tractor racing circuit is in full swing for the next month, until the 20th September when the big build will start for our huge indoor play area. This is not going to be some awful plastic ball pit but an amazing chunky wooden structure with dens, climbing ropes and places to hide. Fingers crossed it will be open by the end of October.
