We are open again!
We’ve been working really hard over the past few months and in line with the COVID-19 Industry Standards, we have put measures in place in all areas of the Farm Park. Our policies and procedures have been externally assessed and approved and “WE’RE GOOD TO GO!” We’re helping to define the standard for the Farm Attraction industry as part of the National Farm Attractions Network. NFAN is our industry body, which strives for excellence in hygiene and the best possible visitor experience long before COVID-19, and will continue to long after it as well. There are a number of measures which we have put in place to make your experience great fun and safe, and we will continue to adapt to Government and industry advice, as well as visitor feedback on what you would like to see happening. We are so excited to be back open and we can’t wait to welcome you! https://minimeadowsfarm.digitickets.co.uk/tickets

We have no idea how long this will last but it could be many months. Please be assured that we will reopen and we will be better than ever.

Animals move indoors/undercover for winter
December is here and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! All of our animals have been moved either indoors or under cover during these winter months to make sure they’re nice and snuggly, which is good news for you too as you don’t even need to get your boots muddy when you come to meet them. We are closing for a few days over the festive period, but not for long – from 3pm on Christmas Eve, all day on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day. Normal opening hours from January 2nd 2019. Thank you for your support in 2018 – we really do appreciate it.
Christmas events at the farm
Now Halloween is over, we’re gearing up for Christmas at the farm. We’ve got lots planned, including ‘Story time and gingerbread decorating with Mrs Claus’ for the little ones, and our ‘Winter Wonderland’ parties – games, a disco and snow! We will also be running are usual festive crafting and kids activities over two weekends (8th/9th and 15th/16th), when we will also have carol singers and a brass band.
Launching… the Mini Meadows Farm calendar 2019
We have produced a lovely 2019 calendar full of pictures of our Mini Meadows Farm animals, sure to make you smile! They are now available to buy from the farm at £5 each, but hurry, we only have a limited number. All proceeds will be going to VSO (Voluntary Services Overseas) to help establish a small farm in Tanzania.
Treetops indoor play – reduced entry after 3pm
To make the most of The Treetops, we have a reduced entry price to the farm after 3pm (£2.50) – perfect for after school entertainment! The Treetops opened a year ago and is a huge hit with children of all ages. It includes climbing walls and rope bridges, huge slides, tunnels and funky lighting, and there’s even a separate area for toddlers – small enough for little legs but still just as fun. Click here to watch the video.
SPOOKY FARM WEEK
24th-31st October 2020
Join us at Mini Meadows Farm for some spooky fun. Find your perfect pumpkin from our pumpkin patch and use our mini wheelbarrows to get it back to the carving station. Have fun scooping out the seeds and then let your imagination run wild. What will you turn yours into?
After carving your fangtastic pumpkin, explore our spooktacular ‘trick or treat’ trail, which is undercover so no need to worry about the weather, just watch out for the skeletons! The trail is designed with little ones in mind, so a little bit of spook without anything too scary.
All of our animals will be waiting to see you as well. Stroke the rabbits and the fluffy guinea pigs, giggle at the playful chipmunks and keep an eye on your animal feed when you visit the crafty goats (and see our baby alpacas too).
Reduced capacity with social distancing and one-way system in place. Morning session 10am-1.30pm, afternoon session 2pm-4.30pm.
Normal farm entry plus £7.50 per booking which includes 1x pumpkin to choose and carve in our pumpkin patch, and entry to the ‘trick or treat’ trail for the group. Additional pumpkins £3 each.

THE CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE
28th November – 23rd December 2020
Experience Christmas like never before! You’ll be greeted by our elves and transported into our magical world of Christmas wishes and wonder. All you need is to believe. Let our elves lead you through the candy cane maze as you start your enchanted journey. Enter the magical elf forest and be sure to make a wish at the well. Be amazed and amused in the elf village and look into their homes to see what they’re up to. But be prepared, they are very keen on elf and safety. Stop by at the sweet shop and don’t forget to also top up your adults with a festive drink and mince pie.
Once you’ve refueled, enter our distribution centre to get the important work done. Write your letter to Santa and our elves will stamp and approve it and get it to him at super elf speed. You’ll even get to see how Santa plans to deliver those presents on the big day. And then finally, you get to meet Santa who will be in his workshop preparing for the big day. Make sure you’re on his nice list, because he will know what you’ve been up to! After you’ve had a chat with Santa, follow the elf to be taken to the festive trail where you’ll be able to choose a lovely gift.

We have a whole programme of events lined up for the next year but for the next three months we have:
1. The launch of our new amazing indoor play area.
2. Freaky Farm Farm for Halloween (dates to be confirmed)
3. The BIG Christmas shop...wait and see
Our tractor racing circuit is in full swing for the next month, until the 20th September when the big build will start for our huge indoor play area.
