Upcoming Courses

The interest in keeping chickens and now bees has grown dramatically over the last few years and whilst there are no hard and fast rules, there is some basic knowledge that you will need to make this new hobby an enjoyable and rewarding one. Our knowledge is based on our own experience gained over the last 15 years or so and we have the best interest of the animals at heart.

Our courses are designed for the complete beginner and are a fun way to spend a few hours. They are light hearted, informative and contain a great deal of ‘hands on’ activity with plenty of time to ask questions.

We aim to have a very relaxed atmosphere and will encourage your involvement throughout the course, after all keeping hens or bees should be a hobby not a job. The courses usually run for about two and a half hours with a break for coffee and homemade cakes half way through.

The course is in effect FREE as we give you a voucher for the total cost of the course to spend on any products or accessories we sell.
